The Health Resource Center (HRC) provides health and wellness information to patients, families, visitors, employees and the community at large via books, videos, DVD's journals, displays and the Internet. The HRC aims to help customers gather information they need to maintain, improve, and/or make informed decisions about their health.
The HRC is located on Level 1 at Western Ave.
Open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Dr. Rodney Halvorsen of Lakeshore Women's Health will be in the Health Resource Center on Tuesday September 14th from 12 - 1pm. He will be available to meet with you one-on-one and answer your osteoporosis questions. A free heel density screening will also be offered to registrants.
Registration is required by calling the HRC at 320-2519. FREE!
Mary Matthias, HFM employee and author of "Will There Be Cows In Heaven?" will be in the Health Resource Center from 12:30-1:30pm on Wednesday September 15th. She will be available to discuss her book as well as sign copies. Books will be available for sale. There will also be an information display.

National Network of Libraries of Medicine - Advancing the progress of medicine and improving the public health through access to health information.
Located on the 1st floor, the center is staffed from 8 am - 4 pm Monday - Friday. When you check-in, you receive a pager so you can be reached by hospital staff when needed, while visiting other areas. Available for use is a general waiting area, private consult rooms, private family lounges and computer bays with e-mail capabilities. We also offer a complementary coffee and fruit bar.
