Children learn best by being active and asking questions. We believe that children learn best through play. That is why we chose The Creative Curriculum. It is a play based curriculum that encourages children to become enthusiastic learners in a social setting. It identifies goals in four main areas of development:
- Social / Emotional
- Physical
- Cognitive
- Language
We serve children ages 6 weeks through 5 years old. To make sure that we are meeting the growing needs of your child, assessments are done twice a year. Each classroom assessment is tailored to best meet the needs of that group of children. Ask us for more details!
What makes us different?
We offer many different activities in cooperation with the main YMCA on Maritime Drive. There is not extra charge for swim lessons. The "Y" Bus is used to transport the children to and from the YMCA.
We are a Manitowoc Public School District 4K collaborative site!
We have a state licensed teacher who provides an environment rich in learning experiences based on the Creative Curriculum. Classes run Monday - Friday from 9:00 - 11:30 am. Children must be 4 by September 1st and be present 5 days to qualify for this program.
