What to Expect

We provide a clinic setting with immediate and convenient access to laboratory and x-ray services. Patients are treated on a first come, first served basis. At the time of registration, a staff member will be able to give you an estimated wait time.

If you think your condition requires urgent or emergent attention, please go directly to Holy Family Memorial’s Emergency Department at 2300 Western Avenue, Manitowoc. If you are already at HFM Walk-In Care, and it is determined that your condition is considered emergent and requires a higher level of care, our physicians and staff will assist in getting you to the right facility.

Go directly to the Emergency Department or call 911 if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms:

• loss of consciousness
• chest pain
• signs of a heart attack or stroke
• severe shortness of breath
• bleeding that does not stop after 10 minutes of direct pressure
• severe allergic reaction if breathing is difficult
• poisoning
• a major injury, such as head trauma
• persistent vomiting or vomiting blood
