Daffodil Days Aids Cancer Fight
The American Cancer Society is raising money for cancer research, education and patient services through its annual Daffodil Days fundraiser. The funds raised will help provide availability of reliable cancer information through the Society’s 800 number (800-227-2345) and website www.cancer.org, as well as programs like Look Good…Feel Better, and much more.
The minimum $10 donation entitles the donor to receive a bunch of 10 daffodils. With a $25 donation, the Gift of Hope bouquet will be delivered anonymously to a local cancer patient receiving treatment. Individuals may order blooms for friends, family and co-workers to support the fight against cancer.
Holy Family Memorial is the corporate sponsor of The American Cancer Society Daffodil Days in Manitowoc County. Randi Hetland, team leader of radiation oncology at HFM, is a volunteer chairwoman for the local effort. To order daffodils, visit www.hfmhealth.org/cancer
