Rheumatology Expert Speaks at Support Group
Ekaterina Soforo, MD, of HFM Rheumatology will be the guest speaker at the March meeting of HFM’s Chronic Pain Support Group. Dr. Soforo joined the HFM Network in September 2011. She is a fellowship-trained rheumatologist who is board certified in rheumatology and internal medicine. Dr. Soforo is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and other diseases of the joints, muscles and bones, and she specializes in the management of more than 100 autoimmune and rheumatic conditions.
The group will meet on Wednesday, March 21, from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, 2300 Western Avenue, Manitowoc, in the Two Rivers Room.
Soforo will speak on the topic “Rheumatology and how it relates to chronic pain.”
This meeting is the second anniversary celebration, of the chronic pain support group which is open to anyone facing chronic pain. Group members share their stories, hear speakers, and receive support, encouragement and hope from others who are going through the same challenges. The group meets the third Wednesday of each month, from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
