Medical/Dental Endowment Scholarships
The medical staff at Holy Family Memorial recently awarded five Medical/Dental Endowment Scholarships to area students to help them prepare for the challenges of healthcare in the future.
Five area students received a $1,250 scholarship. The recipients are Aimee Buck, Mikayla Opichka, Megan Muench, Alexis La Tour, and Alissa Grant.
Buck is currently attending Lakeshore Technical College in the medical assistant program with expectations to graduate in December. Opichka will be attending U.W. Stevens Point with a major in physical therapy. Muench will be attending Lakeshore Technical College in the radiography program. La Tour will be attending Northern Michigan University in the fall majoring in nursing. Grant, a current student at U.W. Manitowoc, is majoring in neonatal nursing with expectations to graduate in fall of 2013.
