HFM Welcomes Director of Donor and Legislative Relations
Holy Family Memorial welcomes Richard O’Farrell as its new Director of Fund and Legislative Relations. O’Farrell will be responsible for directing and enriching the engagement and support of HFM donors and legislators.
O’Farrell has extensive and varied experience in the areas of philanthropy, government relations and operational leadership. He most recently served as executive director for Door County Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. O’Farrell has also worked for a variety of foundations including Bay Area Medical Center Foundation and M&M Area Community Foundation.
“There are many factors that affect the health of a community, such as individual health behaviors, environment and socioeconomic factors, and clinical care,” said Mary Maurer, Vice President of Community Engagement/Chief Innovation Officer. “Rick brings valuable experience and unique expertise to this position. He will play a key role at HFM, as we work to advance legislative and local government programs that benefit the health of this community.”
O’Farrell holds a master’s of business administration degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, where he also earned his bachelor’s degree.
