Infectious Disease Specialist now seeing patients at Holy Family Memorial
Holy Family Memorial is pleased to announce that infectious disease specialist Tunji Adejumo, MD, FACP, will be providing a full range of inpatient and outpatient services for infectious disease at HFM General & Vascular Surgery located at 2300 Western Avenue in Manitowoc. Dr. Adejumo is an independent practitioner providing services to hospitals throughout Northeast Wisconsin.
Although there are many ways to reduce the chance of infections such as being immunized and using good hand hygiene, infections are still quite common and proper treatment is important for individual patients and the community as a whole. In most cases, common infections can be treated by a primary care physician. If patients require additional assistance, a doctor can refer patients to Dr. Adejumo to address infections that are difficult to diagnose and determine the best approach for treatment. Dr. Adejumo is available for outpatient referrals and consultations appointments.
Dr. Adejumo has over six years of experience as an infectious disease specialist, practicing in the Green Bay area. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency and a clinical fellowship in infectious disease at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons and Harlem Hospital in New York City, NY. He is board certified in both internal medicine and infectious disease. Dr. Adejumo has authored numerous papers and his work has been published in the American Journal of Medicine and the Internal Journal of Infectious Diseases.
To schedule an appointment with Dr. Adejumo, please call his office at (920) 266-5055. If your healthcare insurance requires a referral from your primary healthcare provider to see a specialist, please obtain this information prior to scheduling your appointment.
