Dr. Marjorie Delo is a board-certified family medicine physician who completed a fellowship in sports medicine. She is a specialist in the nonsurgical treatment of orthopaedic injuries, and also provides comprehensive care for athletes of all ages. Dr. Delo is available to see patients at the Manitowoc office.
Dr. Delo is trained in the treatment of medical conditions such as exercise-induced asthma, cardiac problems in athletes, concussions, and exercise in pregnancy, as well as the evaluation of joint pain and myofascial pain. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of issues unique to female and pediatric athletes. Dr. Delo is able to use musculoskeletal ultrasound to evaluate ligament and tendon injuries, and also performs ultrasound-guided injections, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment for chronic tendon problems.
Dr. Delo received her undergraduate degree from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She earned her medical degree at New York University School of Medicine and completed her residency at University of Massachusetts Medical Center, performing her outpatient training in rural medicine. She completed a sports medicine fellowship at University of California, San Diego. Since completing fellowship, she has taken extensive training in musculoskeletal ultrasound.
