Dr. Michael Kennedy is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who completed a fellowship in foot & ankle surgery. He specializes in the comprehensive treatment of foot & ankle disorders, offering both non-surgical and surgical treatment options.
Dr. Kennedy received his undergraduate degree from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He then earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Kennedy completed his internship/residency in orthopaedic surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, followed by his fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery at the prestigious Idaho Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Fellowship in Boise, Idaho
Dr. Kennedy has published numerous scientific articles and book chapters pertaining to foot and ankle surgery. He has conducted extensive research in orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery, and has also lectured and given research presentations in this specialty area. He has more than 10 years of academic orthopaedic experience at the Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland.
Outside of medicine, Dr Kennedy enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He is also an avid hockey player.
