My Story

I’ve enjoyed athletics from grade school through college, and beyond. A competitive history in bodybuilding and aerobics kept my physical pursuits at a high level where I learned much about training and love to share the knowledge. I spend most of my time here at the Wellness Center on the Pilates reformer where the goals are a stronger core and a more mobile spine. Small group training, Pilates reformer, working out with arthritis, and promoting weight loss are special areas of interest for me and are areas in which I have had great success.

Education

I attended UW Manitowoc, UW-Green Bay and Bellin College of Nursing. I am double certified through the American Council on Exercise and began teaching in 1981. Throughout that time, I became certified in many training apparatus such as kettlebells, step, Bosu, cycling, and the Pilates reformer to name a few. I am also certified through the Arthritis Foundation, a Cancer Exercise Specialist, and I lead a community wide weight loss challenge called "Lean on the Lakeshore" with thousands of pounds lost. I am Precision Nutrition certified coach and truly enjoy seeing my clients reach their healthy goals.
