What is the ASTYM System and how does it work?
  • A non-invasive therapy that works fast and consistently to heal scar tissue that may develop as a result of trauma, surgery or overuse
  • This treatment helps rejuvenate muscles, tendons, and ligaments
  • The ASTYM system uses hand held plastic instruments to scrape and mobilize scar tissue in order to stimulate the body's natural healing process
  • A therapist moves the instruments firmly along the patient's skin, in very particular directions. This helps the therapist recognize the defective soft tissue, and ultimately, help those areas heal

Some of the clinical diagnoses that respond well to ASTYM the treatment:

  • Trigger finger
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
