On the last day of treatment, the patient and staff gather around a special bell. Ringing the bell, the patient proudly proclaims,
“Ring this bell three times well, a toll to clearly say, this treatment’s done, my course is run, and I am on my way."
As patients complete their chemotherapy or radiation treatment, the Cancer Care Center staff celebrates with them. Mary Matthias, LPN, brought this special celebration to the Cancer Center.
