 arted at Memorial Hospital in 1986 as a tribute to Manitowoc's veterans, and
  for every year since, hundreds of people have given gifts to honor or remem
 ber veterans, friends and family with a symbolic light on our Christmas tree
 . Funds raised will be used to purchase a patient simulator which will provi
 de a realistic training and medical education tool for nurses and other heal
 thcare professionals. As well, 10 percent of funds will be directed to the P
 rovidence Fund which provides a one-time emergency resource for medications,
  medical related transportation, and medical equipment. \n\nFor more informa
