Laboratory & X-ray Tests
Routine tests and x-rays are done in the Diagnostic Services department at Harbor Town. For more complicated tests and x-rays, we recommend you go to Holy Family Memorial Medical Center as an outpatient.
Hospital Care
If you need to be hospitalized, you will be cared for at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center. Your primary care physician will continue to track all medical care you receive and will be in close contact with the hospitalists and specialists treating you. Hospitalists are hospital-based physicians that coordinate the care of patients while they are in the hospital.
If your insurance requires admission to a specific hospital, please notify the physician. Arrangements will be made to accommodate these specific requirements.
Prescription Refills
Please call during regular office hours for prescription refills. If you are running low on medication, call before you completely run out, especially if a weekend or holiday is approaching. Sometimes we will not refill a medication, or only partially refill it and request that you make an appointment. We must periodically check to be sure the medication is still necessary, and the dosage is appropriate.
Medical Education
We have an interest in teaching and education, and from time to time we may have medical students from the University of Wisconsin Medical School and Lakeshore Technical College visiting our office. The students will be working under our supervision at all times, and their observation or participation depends on your permission.
