Funded and Tended by Donors and Volunteers
Holy Family Memorial's Heritage Garden evokes the indomitable spirit of our founders, while incorporating therapeutic, restorative, and beautiful areas for you to walk the labyrinth, pray, commune with nature, or simply enjoy the outdoors in a soothing environment.
It is a unique garden designed to be used for healing. Patients use the garden for physical therapy to restore strength in limbs and joints, while patient’s families and visitors use the garden for spiritual renewal and strength. The Heritage Garden incorporates three distinct but connected areas:
- St. Francis Passage
- Labyrinth Retreat
- Jerry and Jeanne Censky Haven of Hope
The garden is located adjacent to the Medical Center at 2300 Western Avenue with entrances from inside near the Hospitality Center and from the Cancer Care Center. The natural terrain and slope of the hillside makes three gardens logical and aesthetically pleasing.
