On December 7, 1986, the Memorial Hospital Women’s Auxiliary lit the first Love Light Tree to honor our nation’s veterans. Through the years, the celebration evolved to honor loved ones who are living and have passed. We are proud to commemorate the 76th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor by continuing our 31 year tradition of hosting the HFM Love Light Tree Celebration on National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
Join us at 6 p.m. on December 7 to light the Love Light Tree. The celebration will continue with treats, a visit from Santa Claus, and live music.
All proceeds from this event benefit veterans’ health, community health initiatives and the HFM Providence Fund.
