This year, proceeds will go to help Holy Family Memorial Hospice in providing the needs and services of their patients. When faced with a life limiting illness, HFM Hospice provides HOPE through specialized physical, emotional and spiritual care that focuses on comfort and quality of life.
- HFM Hospice honors DIGNITY by respecting patient’s unique needs, concerns and wishes.
- HFM Hospice emphasizes COMPASSION to enhance the quality of life and enables patients to live their life with dignity, purpose and peace.
- HFM Hospice offers a safe and confidential environment for patients to reflect on their lives. They also honors the families’ journey after their loved one has died by offering a 12 month bereavement program. Hospice also honors the lives of the patients and families they care for at their annual Service of Remembrance every October.
As well, 10 percent of funds will be directed to the Providence Fund which provides a one-time emergency resource for medications, medical related transportation and medical equipment.
To contribute to the event, please print the donation form and mail to HFM Fund Development.
Love Light started at Memorial Hospital in 1986 as a tribute to Manitowoc's veterans, and for every year since, hundreds of people have given gifts to honor or remember veterans, friends and family with a symbolic light on our Christmas tree.
