Prepared Childbirth Series
This five-week series includes an overview of the labor & birth process, pain control and breathing & relaxation techniques for labor. Postpartum care, lifestyle changes, information about newborns and breastfeeding are also included. Special information for partners in parenting infant safety and CPR are also reviewed.

Everything you need to know to prepare for labor, birth and beyond is discussed in this series.
Prepared Childbirth Marathon
This two Saturday marathon covers all of the same information as the five week prepared childbirth series, only participants complete the course in two Saturday classes. Pack a lunch or purchase a box lunch from our cafeteria as we will take a lunch break both days.
Refresher for Childbirth
This one evening class offers a review of the labor and birth process, along with breathing and relaxation technique discussion. This class is designed for those with previous labor and delivery experience.
Your Changing Family
When a baby on the way means four (or more) in the family, this class is for you! Come with your children ages 4-10 to celebrate the birth of their new sibling.

Children will learn about newborn characteristics, get a chance to diaper a doll, and have a tour of the unit where mom will stay. One or both parents are welcome to attend with their child/children, however, at least one parent is required to stay.

After baby arrives - join us at Mom's Club
Every Wednesday 10 - 11 a.m.

Mom’s Club is a place for new moms and their babies to meet other new moms, and have their questions answered. Moms can weigh their baby, log baby’s progress in the update book, and share stories with other moms. This is also an opportunity to ask an RN health questions about you & your baby.

Located at HFM Medical Center - 2300 Western Ave
Newton Room - 2nd Floor West Wing
For details on Mom's Club call 320-2264
Registration not required - FREE
