Your home.
It’s where you’ve raised your family, celebrated holidays, birthdays, and cherished everyday moments. Why would you ever want to leave? Unfortunately, all it takes is one accident to change our lives forever. Are you ready to move to a nursing home or assisted living facility if you should suffer a fall in your home that leaves you relying on others for help?

Our certified specialist at HFM Family Health Shoppe can recommend and install products in your home to greatly reduce your risk of falls, so you can stay in your own home longer.

Our Services
Accessibility solutions, commonly referred to as home modifications, are adaptations made to the residence that increase its use, safety, comfort, security and independence. This service is ideal for patients who are returning home after a rehab stay due to a fall or joint replacement and need home modifications to continue to recover safely. It is also appropriate for seniors, or anyone who wishes to remain in their own home as long as possible, and are planning ahead to prepare their home to make that possible.

Home safety products:
  • Non-slip floor mats
  • Grab bars by toilet, tub and shower
  • Shower bench
  • Toilet risers
  • Hand-held shower
Portable ramps
Why portable ramps? Portable ramps are more economical than permanent ramps, and can be set up and taken down in just a few minutes. Portable ramps are available in a variety of styles and sizes, up to 12 feet in length. We also offer ramps for easier access into vehicles. Call us to see how we can help meet your mobility needs!

What is a Certified Environmental Access Consultant?
A Certified Environmental Access Consultant (C.E.A.C.) works with senior or disabled customers on installations of accessibility products to promote independence and functional ability.
A C.E.A.C. is a recognized certification for professionals such as independent living specialists, physical therapists, life care planners and other professionals creating accessibility or working in the environmental access field.
