Holy Family Memorial is pleased to welcome Sarah Holets, DO to the Emergency Department at HFM Medical Center. Dr. Holets has over three years of emergency medicine experience and is excited to begin helping patients in the Manitowoc area.
Dr. Holets received her medical degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona in 2012. She then completed an internship and residency at Kingman Regional Medical Center in Kingman, Arizona. Since finishing her residency, she has been practicing as an emergency medicine physician in Wisconsin.
“Being a physician was a childhood dream of mine as I would accompany my father through his hospital rounds in the morning or go to the office emergently to sew someone at night,” said Dr. Holets. “House calls and nursing rounds were a weekend activity. Seeing the respect and love my father had for the profession and the people inspired me to follow the same footsteps, but the excitement and urgency of emergency medicine pulled me from the clinic setting.”
Dr. Holets is married and has two dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys lifting weights, playing sports and recently started rehabilitating houses.
