HFM to host a widow’s workshop

Holy Family Memorial Hospice and a group of local widows will host a God’s Care for Widows Workshop on Saturday, August 11. The one-day program is designed for widowed women of any age or faith background and provides an opportunity to explore the emotional, social and spiritual aspects of their grief.

The event will be held at the HFM Medical Center, 2300 Western Avenue in Manitowoc, in the Manitowoc Room from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The following presentations will be offered at the workshop:

  • Forgiveness - Presented by: Florence Hanson
  • Healing through Art - Presented by: Katie Schamburek and Assistant, Glaze & Paint
  • Group Discussion Activity - Lead by: Bethany Fecht, APSW, HFM Hospice Social Worker
  • Spirituality through Creativity - Presented by: Rev. Jayne Helgevold, HFM Hospice Chaplain
