Holy Family Memorial Hospice and a group of local widows will host a God’s Care for Widows on Saturday, August 3. The one-day program is designed for widowed women of any age or faith background and provides an opportunity to explore the emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of their grief.
The event will be held at the HFM Medical Center, 2300 Western Avenue in Manitowoc, in the Manitowoc Room from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The following presentations will be offered at the workshop:
- Question and Answer (widow to widow)
- Estate Planning Presented by: Attorney Thomas Griesbach & Attorney Alison C. Petri
- Personal and Environment Safety Presented by: Manitowoc County Detective Christine Bessler
- Faith Journey to Healing
Presented by: HFM Director of Mission and Pastoral Care Sister Kay Klackner
