HFM Women’s Health Welcomes New Providers

Holy Family Memorial is pleased to welcome the addition of Steven Bush, MD and Doreen Krause, APNP to HFM Women’s Health.

Dr. Bush is an experienced obstetrician and gynecologist with more than two decades of women’s health experience. Dr. Bush will provide obstetrical and gynecological services, including well woman exams and pregnancy care for women of all ages.

“I’m excited to join HFM Women’s Health,” said Dr. Bush. “I’m most looking forward to getting to know people and caring for the health needs of women here in Manitowoc County.”

Dr. Bush is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He attended medical school at Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois and then completed an OB/GYN residency at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago.

Dr. Bush and his family recently moved to Manitowoc. Outside of work, Dr. Bush enjoys spending time with his wife and six kids and playing golf.

Doreen Krause, APNP joined the clinical team at HFM Women’s Health in June. She will be working alongside the OB/GYN physicians to provide gynecological services including well-woman care, health education and prenatal care.

“My first passion in healthcare is women’s health,” said Krause. “My goal is to support women and empower them to take control of their health and wellbeing.”

Krause is an experienced nurse practitioner with nearly 25 years of nursing experience primarily focused in primary care, walk-in care, gastroenterology, pain management, urology, and as a labor and delivery nurse.

She completed her master of nursing degree from Concordia University and bachelor of science in nursing from Alverno College. Krause is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Outside of work, Krause enjoys hiking with her dogs, photography and traveling.
