For the fourth year in a row, Becker’s Hospital Review has named Holy Family Memorial as one of America’s “100 Great Community Hospitals”. Hospitals featured on this list are recognized for their clinical quality, operational excellence and economic impact on their surrounding areas. Only two health care systems in northeastern Wisconsin made the list.

We are honored to once again be named to Becker's Great Community Hospitals list," said Brett Norell, president and chief executive officer of Holy Family Memorial. "Being consistently named to the Becker's list is a testament of HFM’s commitment for compassionate, high-quality care in this community."

Hospitals considered for this list must have fewer than 550 beds, be located in a suburban or rural area, and have minimal teaching programs. Becker’s Hospital Review experts evaluate the hospitals, ranking them based on original research, as well as rankings from review boards such as IBM Watson Health 100 Top Hospitals, iVantage Health Analytics and The Chartis Center for Rural Health's Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals, CareChex ratings, Leapfrog Group grades, and Healthgrades awards, among other considerations.

HFM has served Manitowoc County since 1899 and employs nearly 1,000 health care professionals. The health care network includes more than 15 clinics, a retail pharmacy, wellness center and a rehabilitation facility. In 2018, HFM contributed nearly $34.1 million in total community benefit programming to the poor, uninsured and underinsured.
