HFM and Bellin Announce Cardiovascular Partnership

Holy Family Memorial and Bellin Health have announced a partnership to bring enhanced cardiovascular care services to the Manitowoc County area. This represents an expansion of the already-existing relationship between the two organizations through Bellin Health Partners.

Through the cardiovascular partnership, Manitowoc County residents will have the expertise of the region’s largest and most comprehensive heart care team and a Top 50 Heart Hospital, while being able to continue to receive quality heart care in Manitowoc County.

“Heart disease is the leading cause of death, and this new partnership expands upon the talent of HFM’s current cardiology providers to combat that, said Brett Norell, President & CEO of HFM. “The new program includes both medical and interventional cardiologists on-site, with a robust array of specialized cardiac services and after hours support for cardiology services provided at Bellin Health, when needed.”

“This partnership is an evolution of the long-standing relationship between our two organizations, and complements our shared vision of providing high-quality care for our patients,” said Chris Woleske President & CEO Bellin Health. “Bellin and Holy Family Memorial have a long history of serving the people of this region and it’s important for us to shape and lead heart care to provide the right care at the right time in the right place, now and in the future.”

HFM is already part of Bellin Health’s Accountable Care Organization (ACO) to improve quality of care to our patients.

HFM patients will have access to the full spectrum of Bellin Health cardiology services, if needed, but will continue to have the majority of their cardiac care at HFM. This allows patients to have seamless continuity of cardiac care and ensures the ongoing commitment of both organizations to providing the highest quality of care to their patients.
