Holy Family Memorial (HFM) is now offering COVID-19 vaccination to the community for adults age 65 years and older starting Tuesday, January 26. In addition, HFM will continue to vaccinate individuals who are eligible under the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) vaccination criteria which currently include health care workers, police, and firefighters. Individuals do not need to be an HFM patient to get the vaccine.
“Holy Family Memorial is the only health care system in Manitowoc administering the COVID-19 vaccine to the community,” says Tom Veeser, chief nursing officer and vice president of quality. “The vaccine is essential to slowing the spread of COVID-19 and protecting everyone. It’s important that we vaccinate as many individuals as we quickly can.”
Appointments are required for the HFM COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic; walk-ins will not be accepted. To schedule a vaccine appointment, visit hfmhealth.org and click on the registration link. Registration for the vaccine will close when all available sessions are filled. Additional vaccination dates and times will be added as HFM receive vaccine allocations from the state.
There is no cost to get a COVID-19 vaccine. Please bring a copy of your insurance card to your vaccine appointment. Your insurance provider will be billed for the vaccine administration fee. If your insurance does not cover the administration fee or if you pay privately, you will not receive a bill from HFM for this fee.
