Froedtert & MCW Workforce Health Opens Manty Clinic

New Partnership with the City of Manitowoc and Manitowoc Public School District

Manitowoc, WI, Feb. 4, 2022—The Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin health network officially launched its new Manty Health and Wellness Clinic with a ribbon cutting this week. The Manty Clinic is a new program through which Workforce Health, the employer services arm of the Froedtert & MCW health network, provides health care services to City of Manitowoc and Manitowoc Public School District employees and their families.

The Manty Clinic is located in the Holy Family Memorial Harbor Town Clinic at 1650 S. 41st St. in Manitowoc. Holy Family Memorial is an affiliate of Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network.

Steve Little, President of Holy Family Memorial, noted that the Manty Clinic showcases “the advantages of the partnership between Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin and what that brings to the people of Manitowoc and the surrounding communities.”

Patti Kneiser, the VP of Employer Services at Froedtert Health, added that this program “brings (health care) resources to where people work and live and makes it accessible and affordable.”

Clinic provider Deb Schwallie, APNP; MPSD Superintendent Mark Holzman; and Jesse Lillibridge, Human Resources Director for the City of Manitowoc, also took part in the ribbon cutting, officially launching the Clinic.

Holzman said, “This is a great opportunity to maintain (staff) health while partnering with Holy Family…and the City.” The Clinic also provides a way to manage health care costs to allow resources to be used to support teachers and students.

Lillibridge reiterated Holzman’s comment and noted that the City is receiving a lot of positive feedback about the service.

Manty Clinic provider Deb Schwallie, APNP, is returning to the community, having received her education at the former Holy Family Nursing School. She has served in a similar capacity with Froedtert Health’s clinic for the City of Milwaukee for the past nine years and looks forward to the connections she is making in the community.
