New hematologist and medical oncologist joins HFM Cancer Center.

 

Manitowoc, Wis., (June 3, 2022) –Holy Family Memorial (HFM) is pleased to announce the addition of Joel Lundberg, MD, hematologist/medical oncologist, to the HFM Cancer Center.

Dr. Lundberg has more than 35 years of medical experience. He attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin and then completed an internal medicine residency at Wright Patterson Air Force Base Medical Center in Ohio. After his residency, Dr. Lundberg served for four years at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota as an internal medicine physician. Following his military service, he completed a three-year clinical and research fellowship in hematology and oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Lundberg is board-certified in medical oncology, hematology, and internal medicine.

 

“I’m excited to join the team at the HFM Cancer Center to serve patients throughout our community,” said Dr. Lundberg. “Through access to the latest technology and treatments, we are able to provide patients with advanced cancer care close to home.”

Outside of work, Dr. Lundberg enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, traveling, reading, and motorcycling riding. He has also been involved in international Christian mission work for over 22 years and has traveled to West Africa, Mongolia, and Russia.
