Why Weight program starting Sept. 12.

Manitowoc, Wis., (August 23, 2022) – Are you at risk for pre-diabetes? Join Holy Family Memorial (HFM) for a year-long, lifestyle change program starting Monday, Sept. 12. The program is designed to help delay or prevent type 2 diabetes. With the help of a lifestyle coach, participants will learn how to make healthy eating choices and incorporate physical activity into their lives.

The program consists of 16 weekly core sessions and 7 monthly post-core sessions. Participants meet Mondays from 4-5 p.m. Why Weight also has a fitness component that includes a three-month membership to the HFM Wellness Center. Starting Oct. 12, after the first month of core sessions, participants will meet for weekly private small group exercise classes on Wednesdays from 5-6 p.m.
