HFM Named 2015 Most Wired Hospital
For the third year in a row, Holy Family Memorial (HFM) was named a Most Wired Hospital by Hospitals & Health Networks Magazine.
The survey, which was completed by 2,213 hospitals, examined how organizations are leveraging information technology to improve performance for value-based healthcare in the areas of: infrastructure, business and administrative management, quality and safety, and clinical integration. Organizations, like HFM, who reflect core development across all four focus areas received the title of Most Wired.
"We are honored to be named as a Most Wired Hospital. This represents our ongoing commitment to excellence in information technology.” said Dr. Theron Pappas, Director of Management Information Systems. “We are continuously embracing new technologies to improve patient care, convenience, and access for the community. A great example of this is HFM’s recent investment in upgrading our electronic health record (EHR) system in partnership with Cerner Corporation.
