Holy Family Memorial Named 2016 Most Wired
Most Wired Hospitals Use Technology for a Better Patient Experience
For the fourth year in a row, Holy Family Memorial (HFM) was named a Most Wired Hospital by Hospitals & Health Networks Magazine.
HealthCare’s Most Wired® survey is published annually by Health & Hospitals Networks (H&HN). The 2016 Most Wired® survey and benchmarking study is a leading industry barometer measuring information technology (IT) use and adoption among hospitals nationwide. The survey of 680 participants, representing an estimated 2,146 hospitals—more than 34 percent of all hospitals in the U.S.—examines how organizations are leveraging IT to improve performance for value-based health care in the areas of infrastructure, business and administrative management; quality and safety; and clinical integration. Organizations, like HFM, who reflect core development across all four focus areas received the title of Most Wired.
"The Most Wired organizations exemplify progress through innovation so, I am extremely honored that Holy Family Memorial has received the Most Wired Award recognition for the fourth year in a row”, said HFM President and Chief Executive Officer Mark Herzog. “This award represents our ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence in information technology. We are continuously embracing new technologies such as our HFM Right Now e-visit service to improve patient care, convenience, and access for the community.”
With HFM Right Now, patients can connect directly with an HFM provider from the comfort of their home and receive care for minor illnesses, such as the cold, flu, sinus infections, or allergies—all for $35, payable by a credit, debit or health savings card.
