Lose Weight and Get Fit with the HFM Why Weight and Why Weight Plus Program.
Learn how to lose weight and keep the pounds off with the HFM Why Weight and Why Weight Plus programs. Attend a free informational session about Why Weight Plus on Monday, August 29 at 5 p.m. in Cooperstown Room at HFM Harbor Town Campus, located at 1650 S. 41st St., Manitowoc. There’s also an informational session about the basic Why Weight program on Monday, September 19 at 5 p.m. at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, 2300 Western Avenue, in the Reedsville Room.
Why Weight meets for one year. Participants will meet with a lifestyle coach in a weekly group session for 16 weeks, then monthly thereafter. During each session, a lifestyle coach will cover a topic that will help participants learn how to incorporate healthy eating choices and physical activity into their lives.
Why Weight Plus follows the same format as the basic Why Weight program, but also includes a fitness component. The group will meet twice per week – one session with a lifestyle coach and another session with an exercise instructor. Why Weight Plus includes a three-month membership to the HFM Wellness Center and weekly private small group exercise classes.
The next Why Weight Plus series starts on September 12. Class meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-6 p.m. at the HFM Wellness Center, 1650 S. 41st Street, in the Cooperstown Room. Cost for the class is $250 for HFM Wellness Center members and $350 for non-members.
The next Why Weight series starts on September 26. Class meets Mondays from 5-6 p.m. at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, 2300 Western Avenue in the Reedsville Room. Cost for this class is $250 for both HFM Wellness Center members and non-members.
