About

A native of the area, I grew up in Rockwood, WI. I received my Doctor of Nurse Practice degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bellin College and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.　I have been in health care for 11 years, working in primary care and acute care before finding my home in oncology. I am passionate about caring for our patients throughout their journey in oncology. I practice medicine from a nursing perspective, caring for our patients’ body, mind and soul.

I returned to the Manitowoc area in 2015, where I live with my husband, four children and our two dogs. I serve as a board member/tournament director for our local youth hockey association and am the president of our baseball youth sports club. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, reading, and gardening.

They answered my questions to the fullest.

Amber Kornely was very friendly and easy to talk with. She was very knowledgeable.

I was late getting there, so no wait times for anything! I have been getting Keytruda since January, so not too many questions anymore. Amber is very nice.
