From the Sheboygan Sun - The public is invited to a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Froedert and the Medical College of Wisconsin Center for Health Care Excellence training facility on September 6 at 10:30 a.m.
The ceremony will take place at the Lakeshore Technical College’s (LTC) Cleveland campus, 1290 North Avenue. Tours, demonstrations and lunch will follow.
Demonstrations will include new technology and equipment including patient simulators, which allow students to experience highly realistic training in a classroom.

LTC invested $6 million to remodel and expand the training facility by 16,000 square feet to offer more health and medical services training. LTC will offer high-tech training experiences using life-like patient simulators. Students will be able to begin realistic emergency medical services training exercises at the training facility prior to moving in real-time to the Center for Health Care Excellence.
With the expanded space, LTC welcomes students interested in pursuing Nursing-Associates degree, Practical Nursing, Medical Assistants, Emergency Medical Technicians, Medical Coding, Radiology Technician and Ophthalmic Assistant training.
