Shoulder injuries and shoulder pain are extremely common in today’s active population. In the majority of cases, the injuries are minor and can be successfully treated with a course of rest, anti-inflammatory medications, and physical therapy. However, in some patients, the underlying cause of pain may be more serious. Regardless of patient age or activity level, persistent shoulder pain that adversely affects an individual’s quality of life should be evaluated by an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the shoulder.Dr. Ryan Dopirak

He has been selected by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America, and San Diego Shoulder Institute to serve as an instructor at numerous national shoulder conferences.
