Personal Philosophy

“I believe that each patient should be fully educated about their condition so that they may participate in the decision making process. Each patient’s functional expectations are different, and treatment is always tailored to the individual.”

“For the majority of patients in my practice, nonsurgical treatment is the most appropriate first step. Surgery is only considered if all other treatment options have failed or if it is truly in the best interest of the patient.”

“I am a perfectionist. If surgery is required, we do not leave the operating room until the end result is as perfect as humanly possible. I love coming to work every day and consider it a great privilege when a patient places their trust in me by choosing me as their physician.”

“Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three sons. My hobbies include fishing, hunting, basketball, weight training, and cooking.”
