HFM eases visitor restrictions.

Manitowoc, Wis., (July 12, 2021) – Starting Monday, July 12, 2021, Holy Family Memorial (HFM) will allow two visitors per patient in the hospital, except for patients in the Critical Care Unit and Emergency Department, which will remain at one visitor per patient. The updated visitor guidelines apply to the HFM Medical Center and all HFM outpatient clinic locations.

All visitors will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms and exposure prior to entering an HFM facility. Staff, patients, and visitors are also required to wear an approved mask while inside an HFM facility. The mask policy is in alignment with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) masking directives for health care facilities. Those who come to an HFM facility without an approved mask will be provided one prior to entering.

HFM recognizes how important it is for families to connect with hospitalized loved ones. We encourage telephone calls to patients who can receive them. For all others, we ask that families designate one person to serve as a spokesperson to communicate with hospital staff and relay information to other family members.
