As a nurse practitioner, my philosophy of nursing is to provide individualized care to my clients by acknowledging their unique situations, educating patients and their families, and providing unconditionally compassionate, high-quality care. I believe this can be accomplished by creating an atmosphere that supports strong provider and patient relationships based on respect for my patient’s beliefs and desires for their health and their freedom of choice. I believe my success as a nurse practitioner requires me to accept accountability for being a strong advocate for my patients and their loved ones, as well as being a strong representative of advanced practice nursing.

About

Rebecca Carpenter, MSN, FNP-BC originates from Michigan, but the Midwest in general. Obtained undergraduate degree in Nursing from Marian College of Fond du Lac. Worked as a Nurse Clinic Float in nearly 20 different departments, working closely with providers in a variety of settings and specialties. This allowed me to gain knowledge in a variety of specialties. Obtained Masters in Nursing from UW Oshkosh College of Nursing. Has lived and worked in the Fond du Lac area for more than 20 years and has close ties to the community. Enjoys spending time with family, traveling, kayaking. Medical Champion for Reach Out and Read Program. Collaborate as medical advisor to North Fond du Lac School District.

I have never had such a thorough conversation and check of my health in my entire life. Rebecca was awesome.
Very knowledgeable. New patient visit and went over meds and any medical conditions in detail. I am Very pleased I transferred to Rebecca for a primary and am in the Froedtert network.
I can't express how much I appreciate the care I received from Rebecca. I came to her after being written off by other doctors who judged me by my appearance. I went from crying out of nervousness at the beginning of the appointment to feeling hopeful at the end. She truly cares about her patients and getting to know us and probably isn't paid enough for all the care she provides.
Rebecca is the best! Thorough and easy to discuss concerns with. She shows she cared about her patients as people.
