HFM Cancer Support Group
The cancer support group is designed for all cancer patients, their families and friends. The group meets quarterly with a different topic discussed at each meeting. Research shows that people who take part in support groups have more hope, a better attitude toward facing their illness, and less depression. For more information, please call (920) 320-2749.
Look Good…Feel Better
In partnership with the American Cancer Society, National Cosmetology Association and the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association, this program helps women with cancer cope with appearance-related side effects of treatment, such as hair loss. The goal is to regain a sense of self-confidence. Local volunteer cosmetologists teach women how to use make-up and deal with hair loss by using wigs, scarves and hats. Please call (920) 682-4647 for more information.
HFM Nurse Navigator
The HFM Cancer Center offers a Nurse Navigator to help guide patients through the healthcare system. Nurse Navigators are available to answer questions, reduce barriers to receive cancer care, and connect patients to additional support resources. Call the HFM Cancer Center at (920) 320-2749 to speak with a Nurse Navigator or click here to learn more.
